IMPRESSIONS

Visual: Minato's about 170 cm tall and of a light build, though he tends to appear shorter than that due to his slouch. He's almost always seen with his hands tucked in his pockets and appears to be perpetually tired, but in spite of this and the bangs covering his right eyes Minato's seen as an attractive boy in canon, with characters commenting on his androgynous looks and his long eyelashes.

Fashion: While not being particularly fashion-conscious, Minato has a knack for picking what makes him look good and feel comfortable. His outfits in Cerealia bear a close resemblance to what he wore in his own world such as an assortment of T-shirts, coats and the occasional scarf to go with a jacket, and any fancy outfits he might have tends to look similar to his own school uniform.
One might call Minato's choice of cool colors dull, but he doesn't seem to mind in the slightest.

Demeanour: Minato may initially come off as someone who's either stand-offish or shy as he rarely speaks, and it's not uncommon to catch him watching people rather than talking to them. While somewhat brusque and distant at a glance, Minato isn't unkind and he's quick to offer his help to someone in need; he's also more than capable of cracking a joke now and then with people he's close to.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about Minato is his tendency towards neutrality and apathy. There's little that fazes him and he's incredibly easy-going, ready to believe people at a hat's drop not due to naivety but due to the horrors he was exposed to as a child. Said horrors have undoubtedly played a part in forming his character for better or worse, being extremely self-sacrificing and with little regard for himself, the latter of which manifests as recklessness on his part.

Aural: Minato is voiced by Akira Ishida in the game, drama CDs and the movies; though a dub exists (He's voiced by Yuri Lowenthal in the English version) this is the voice direction I use as character reference. He's soft-spoken and there's little variance in his tone (Which in itself is deeper than what one might expect from him), lending to his incredible talent for cracking jokes that are taken seriously.

Olfactory: Minato tends to smell like generic soap for the most part, and one can tell if he's taken a soak in the bath as he'll smell like either melon or strawberry in that case.
